Town striker Darren Bent hit an 87th minute winner for the England U21s as David Platt's side beat Holland 3-2 at Hull's Kingston Communications Stadium. Bizarrely, it's the second time that Bent has netted an 87th minute goal at Hull for the U21s, even more strangely, also in a 3-2 victory. |

Town had to thank keeper Kelvin Davis for their point from a 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest. The home side had much the better of the game but the superb Davis was equal to almost all they threw at him. Town surprisingly took the lead through Darren Bent but soon after Chris Morgan equalised. |
